RICHMONDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCILLORS
I have always been a resolute Independent member and am now Leader of Richmondshire Independents at RDC.
The Richmondshire Independents have recently joined with the other Independent Groups on the Council to form a collective group known as The Independents of which I am Group Secretary and Deputy Leader.
I am the Councillor for the ward of Gilling West, the beautiful, rural area south of the A66 with its villages of Gilling West, Ravensworth, Gayles, Whashton and Kirby Hill; settlements at Aske and Sedbury.
I was elected to represent the Swaledale Ward which includes the Parishes of Downholme, Ellerton Abbey, Grinton, Hudswell, Melbecks (Gunnerside and Low Row Ward), Muker, Stainton and Walburn.
